It is recommended to always keep the cremains inside of a bag (plastic or velvet) to avoid any accidents. Never pour the ashes directly into the urn. The urn has a 165 cubic inch capacity, which is perfect for storing the ashes of a loved one with an average weight of up to 165 pounds or a pet with a weight below 140 lbs. The urn measures 8-1/8 inches in width, 10 inches in height, and 8-1/8 inches in depth, making it a substantial and impressive piece that can be prominently displayed in any room of the house.

Personalizing Your Memorial Urn

Personalizing the urn can really make it one of a kind. Adding custom engraved sentiments like your loved ones name, their legacy dates (birth date - passing date), their family titles (mom, dad, sister, brother, etc.) and other special sayings elevates the long-term impact this urn will make. You may add up to 3 lines of engraving with up to 35 characters on each line. Additionally, you may choose from our selection of various artwork as a compliment to your text engraving. Displaying & Storing Your Urn

There are options for displaying and/or storing your urn. If you plan to bury the urn, you will need to use a burial container to protect the urn from the elements and weight of the earth. Burial containers may be purchased above, or you may purchase them from most local cemeteries. Each cemetery or burial ground has different requirements so you will want to confirm with them what types of containers are suitable for their guidelines. Direct burial is never recommended.

Alternatively, you may display this urn in your home or inside a columbarium. In either instance, the urn may be stored by itself or within an outside the urn bag.
