Because of the size of this heart pendant, the best photos for engraving will be relatively close up images that focus on your loved one's face. Depending on the quality of the provided image, lighting and contrast, the final product will vary. Our jeweler makes the best effort possible to make each pendant the highest quality possible.
Our photo heart keepsake pendant is made even more personal by a small internal chamber. The top of the pendant opens so that a small portion of cremated remains, a lock of hair, or dried ceremonial flowers can be placed inside. Wear your heart pendant proudly or display it at home. The top opening easily seals with a threaded stopper screw. We recommend that you use a drop of modeling glue or epoxy to seal the screw permanently.

The etching is a lot lighter than we expected. The top of the heart isn't round, it's more of a corner. Other than that, I love it and my son loves it, which is all that matters -

This piece is beautiful, and holds just the right amount of ashes without being too heavy (and comes with glue so you can seal). I believe people noted it below, but the photo is A LOT lighter than you'd think. It's not as prominent as the product pic, but that's okay, because it still comes out very nicely.
This piece would look even better with a stainless steel or white gold necklace, as the ones they send are 'eh' at most. Highly recommend this product! -
