Largemouth Bass Fishing Cremation Urn - Engravable

For an outdoorsman or avid fisherman, the Largemouth Bass Fishing Cremation Urn is a striking way to honor your loved one. The large bass fish appears to be making a splash, leaping out of the bright blue water. The green and yellow fish has scales that thoroughly resemble those on a real fish. inside its mouth is a fishing lure replica, making it seem as though this fish is being reeled right out of the water. The urn is made of cold cast resin and sets atop a sturdy squared base where the ashes are held inside.

Urn Size and Filling Information

This urn is 50 cubic inches in volume making it suitable for a loved one who had a healthy weight of 50 lbs. Due to this limited size, the urn generally will only hold a portion of the cremains from an adult. This urn is often used as a sharing urn that is displayed inside a home or to house a segment of the cremains while the others may be buried or scattered.

On the bottom of the urn is a removable panel with a d-ring closure to secure it shut. The panel has a rubber gasket to keep the inside of the urn air-tight. To fill the urn the panel will be removed, a bag containing your loved ones cremains is placed inside and the panel is put back in place.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

This urn makes a great work of art to display in your home. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to consider a burial container. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own. This urn has the option for an engraved plaque. The plaque is used to bring another level of personalization for a lasting family momento, passed on for generations. The addition of a loved ones name, legacy dates and their titles (father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, etc.) are most common. The urn allows for a total of 3 lines with 45 characters each to fill with any custom text you'd like. You may also add a poem engraved plaque to be attached to the back side of the urn. Each plaque comes unattached to the urn to ensure they can be permanently adhered to the urn with the provided adhesive, just as you desire.
