Large Cedar Wood Cremation Urn
The Large Cedar wood cremation urn is made from composite wood with American Cedar veneer. This urn has a top opening lid that has a lock and key. The bottom of the urn has soft felt pads which will help prevent damage when placed on delicate surfaces such as wood or glass. Grain varies with each urn.
Optional Engraving
An optional engraving can be done in either a script or block style font. Engraving can be up to 4 lines with a total of 35 characters on each line. Engraving will be done directly on the top of the urn. Optional artwork may also be engraved. (See artwork options above)

Engraving your memorial helps to permanently identify the urn. Personalization helps make the memorial for your loved one personal and unique. Some cemetaries can require direct engraving for identifcation purposes. In the incident of being misplaced or lost the engraving can help return the memorial back to it's proper location.

Do note, the engraving will not be displayed on the product you purchase, rather it is meant to give you an idea of fonts, verbiage and layouts chosen. If you purchased an item with a custom photo engraving, the photo will not be displayed in the engraving example but we will be certain to use any/all cropping notes you provided to us when you placed your order. Optional Urn Burial Container
The Crown Vault Urn Burial Container is made from lightweight polystyrene. It can withstand 4,300 pounds of top load pressure on a single vault! This container is designed to protect the urn and any other keepsakes inside when buried. A wide lip allows the vault to be carried easily and allows for a clean adhesive application; adhesive is included.

This large chest works well as an inexpensive option for containing cremains for services, travel and interment. Because it's wood rather than metal it can be scanned at the airport security in a carry on bag with no issues. Many of the rectangular size plastic "temporary" containers from the crematory fit inside, so often there is no need to transfer the cremains from the crematory packaging. If scattering is the choice of disposition, the family has a nice urn for display at the service and after scattering will have a keepsake chest for mementos instead of an urn with no other use. You can easily add a plaque to personalize the urn if you wish. -

I ordered this box as a memory box because I was looking for something that you could open from the top. It is just beautiful and perfect. It was exactly what I was looking for. It's a nice large size. I also had it engraved and the lettering is lovely. It was everything I wanted to honor my parents. -

The cedar chest we bought from Perfect Memorials was for our 23 year old son, Mark. We needed something to hold his ashes in until we could make it to our favorite camping spot in the summer to spread his ashes there. The cedar chest was the perfect solution. We were able to lock his ashes up and keep them safe until it was time to let them go, and then we used it to keep small, sentimental items in that belonged to him. We had the top engraved with his name and a very shortened version of the poem, "Footprints." Because of the limited spacing allowed we had to hyphenate and separate the word "foot-prints" putting "foot" on one line and "prints" on the other line. When we received the box, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the engravers had put the word "footprints" together on one line. This small act of kindness did not go unnoticed by us.
The chest is just like it looks in the picture. A very nice, simple, smooth cedar box that even smells like cedar. -

Two years ago my husband and I purchased this beautiful urn for his best friend. The engraving was beautiful and his wife of 30+ years loved it. Little did we know that I would be purchasing this one again, this time for my husband of 43+ years, The family and I love it.
