Gold Victorian Tear Bottle
Victorian design inspired the style of this unique Tear Bottle. An intricate antiqued gold filigree pattern of flowers and leaves wraps around the clear glass bottle and also covers the cap. Each cap has a silicon plug, providing a tight seal.
This Gold Victorian tear bottle has an optional matching 2" gold metal tray.
The tear bottle tradition has historically been a mourning tradition. They symbolize an intensely personal gift in remembrance of a loved one. Tear bottles were fairly common in Roman times, when mourners filled small glass vials or bottles with tears and placed them in burial tombs as symbols of love and respect.

I thank you. When there are no words that could be said, because of all the tears, this was the perfect memorial that I could have given my sister in the passing of her husband. She never saw or heard of the Tear Bottle. When you don't know what to do or say send a Tear Bottle. It is beautiful and it is a beautiful way to show you care. -
