This will be perfect for my purpose. My mother and I will say goodbye to my father as we slip him into the lake where he spent many happy hours throughout his 86 years. However, I, too, think this product is overpriced, especially figuring in the shipping cost. I would like to suggest that you include a biodegradable tie of some sort to make the whole process completely "green" -

I purchased this bag use for my mother's buraial at sea. We wanted to be able to release her ashes in the ocean on a boat without having to worry about wind and small children seeing them. I had a presentation bouquet made at a florist and then we tied the bag of ashes to the underside of the bouquet. You couldn't see anything. We simply laid it in the water. The bouquet immediately sank, which we anticipated. What we didn't anticipate was that once the bag dissolved and the ashes dispersed, which took about 2 minutes or so, the bouquet came back up to the surface. It was perfect. It was exactly the way we wanted things to go. -

Everyone worried that the ashes wouldn't sink even though they are heavy, like course sand. We enclosed them carefully, directly inside the water soluble bag making sure to squeeze out all the air inside the bag and tied it closed. We then wrapped the bag like a parcel in lovely natural rice paper and tied it with pretty blue raffia with a few pink and white roses on top under the raffia. It was beautiful. Mom would have approved. We expected it to go down slowly, but it sank immediately like a rock when it touched the water and left no trace behind. This bag is just what we were looking for. -

My husband's ashes went down a beautiful waterfall in this bag. No particles of ashes ended up in the air. Bag contained everything, and dissolved within 30 seconds of contact with water. Just as advertised. Gave us great peace of mind. Thank you. -

I ordered this biodegradable bag and a small box for a friend who asked for co-mingling of his wife's ashes in two places. Both bag and box replaced the plastic bags from the two crematory boxes. For the journey to the ground, the bag was covered with a white linen cloth that was removed before soil replaced. Both bag and box were graceful and dignified in handling. -

Thank you so much for this product. My brother & I were able to finalize the wishes of our parents in their request for distribution of their ashes. They requested that they be placed together in the bag and placed in a nearby lake that they had spent many times enjoying. The bag did hold both and it started disintegrating immediately. It was interesting. Some small fish came along to join the party. Dad would have liked that. He was a great fisherman. Thank you so very much. -

I purchased the Water-Soluble Biodegradable Bag for a family member who wished his ashes be spread over water. I was concerned with floatable remains and ash blowing in the wind as children were present. The bag easily contained the ashes. It sunk immediately. Within a minute the bag disolved releasing air to the surface. The Water-Soluble Biodegradable Bag definitely made this a peaceful transition. Thank You! -djc-
