The Liberty Cremation Urn - Free Engraving

Urn Size & Filling Information

This urn is 185 cubic inches in volume making it suitable for a loved one who had a healthy weight of 185 lbs (83.91 kg) or less, making it suitable for most adults.

This urn can be easily filled through the bottom of the urn. There is a removable panel held in place by four phillips-head screws. The cremains, inside a secured plastic bag, should be placed into the urn chamber. The panel can then be secured back into place.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

This urn makes a great work of art to display in your home. The bottom is covered in felt to avoid scratching any surfaces this may be displayed on. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to consider a burial container. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own. The Crown Vault Urn Burial Containers are made from lightweight polystyrene. It can withstand 4,300 pounds of top load pressure on a single vault! This container is designed to protect the urn and any other keepsakes inside when buried. A wide lip allows the vault to be carried easily and allows for a clean adhesive application; adhesive is included.

Personalizing This Urn

Although we do not offer direct engraving to the exterior of this urn, we do offer a personalized plaque for the inside of the urn. The plaque can be adhered to the secure box that encloses the ashes. The plaque is made of silver or gold resin and allows for 4 engraving lines with 35 characters on each line. You may choose from two font styles and you may also choose from various artwork and poem options.

On the back side of the plaque is pre-applied adhesive to adhere it to the urn with no mess or frustration. We do not apply the plaque prior to shipping.
