These paw print urns are true works-of-art that are hand forged from aluminum and carved by skilled artisans. This solid aluminum vase design is created to reach the highest quality standards available in today’s pet memorial marketplace. Each urn has hand-carved paw prints, just like the ones they left on your heart. Each urn has a threaded screw-on top for easy and safe transferring of your pet’s ashes.
Urn Size & Filling Information
The size of the urn matters, especially if you are hoping to keep all the ashes in one place. The urn's outside dimensions are 4" Dia. x 6" H and an inside capacity of 45 cubic inches. This urn will hold the ashes of a pet with a healthy weight of 40 lbs (18.14 kg) or less. Make sure to double check the weight so that your beloved pet has the proper resting place. If you are looking for a different size urn, it is available in a keepsake or a medium size.
Filling the urn is easy. We recommend keeping the ashes inside of a plastic bag and placing the full bag into the urn. This urn is easily sealed through the top with a secure threaded lid.
Displaying & Burying The Urn
The Small Pewter Paw Print Cremation Urn may be displayed in your home, stored in a columbarium or niche, or buried. If you plan to display this urn in your home or within a columbarium, an outside the urn bag may be a good option to prevent any scratches to the urns finish and to act as a dust cover. If you plan to bury this urn, it is vital that a burial container be used to protect the urn and its contents. Direct burial is not advised. You should check with your burial location to determine specific guidelines they may have but a burial container should be used in all burial instances. Personalizing This Urn
Optional engraving can be done in a variety of fonts. Engraving can be up to 5 lines with 35 characters per line. An optional poem may also be engraved on the back of the urn. Choose from 10 different poems. Optional artwork may also be engraved on the front of the urn.

Inaccurate Sizing Specifications

The urn itself and engraving was beautiful. Unfortunately, the sizing information was wrong and our furry family member's ashes did not all fit, even though she weighed 8-10 pounds less than the maximum weight specifications indicated for the product. -

I was very pleased with the quality and engraving work! Ease of the website need ordering this during a difficult time easy. It also arrived quicker than we needed it which was impressive. I will suggest that our urn may have been a little on the small side. Our dog was a healthy weight of 26 pounds so I ordered the urn that would fit up to a healthy weight of 45 pounds to be able to put his collar and other items in it. There is no room for other items. We were lucky to fit the remains that are still happy! -

We decided on a different font, they told me how to see different fonts. They were very courteous on the phone call. What I liked they emailed us then had a follow up photo call.
