Urn Size & Filling Information

This urn is a keepsake making it a great option to hold a small amount of ashes or as a sharing urn when splitting the ashes up between many family members or loved ones. The urn's outside dimensions are 4.2” H x 3” W x 3” D. and has an inside capacity of 10 cubic inches. This urn will only hold a very small portion of the ashes of a loved one, about eleven tablespoons. If you are looking for a different size, this urn is also available in a large size.

On the top you will find a top-opening with a secure lid, making it easy to fill. The top-opening has a secure rubber gasket. Although the seal will be semi-permanent with just the rubber seal alone, some may choose to also add a thin layer of adhesive to the gasket to form a permanent seal. It is advised this be done with extreme caution to avoid adhesive spillage and possible damage to the urn. To fill the urn, the top lid will be removed, a bag containing your loved ones ashes is placed inside and top open closure placed back on. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own.
