Urn Size & Filling Information

This urn is 200 cubic inches in volume making it suitable for a loved one who had a healthy weight of 200 lbs or less. This size makes this urn suitable for most adults. The outside of the urns measure 6-1/4" W x 10-3/4" H.

This urn is filled through its secure threaded lid. The lid is removed, the cremains are then gently placed inside the urn within the bag that contains them, and the lid can be replaced. You may choose to add a velvet bag to hold the ashes for an added layer of protection. Outside of the urn bags make a great option if you plan to display or transport the urn as it acts as a dust protector and scratch preventer.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

This classic urn can be displayed in your home, stored in a niche, or buried. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to consider a burial container. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own. The Crown Vault Urn Burial Containers are made from lightweight polystyrene. It can withstand 4,300 pounds of top load pressure on a single vault! This container is designed to protect the urn and any other keepsakes inside when buried. A wide lip allows the vault to be carried easily and allows for a clean adhesive application; adhesive is included.

Personalizing This Urn

Engraving this urn allows you to create a truly unique memorial that captures the essence of your loved one's humorous soul. You may add up to 4 lines of text engraving with 35 characters per line. This engraving can be done in any of our five font options available. Most families choose to add a name, dates and personal messages. You may also select from one of our pre-written poems to go on the back side of the urn.
