These paw print urns are true works-of-art that are hand forged from aluminum and carved by skilled artisans. This solid aluminum vase design is created to reach the highest quality standards available in today’s pet memorial marketplace. Each urn has hand-carved paw prints. Each urn has a threaded screw-on top for easy and safe transferring of your pet’s ashes.
Urn Size & Filling Information
This urn is a keepsake making it a great option to hold a small amount of ashes or as a sharing urn when splitting the ashes up between many family members or loved ones. The urn's outside dimensions are 1-5/8" Dia. x 2-3/4" H and an inside capacity of 3 cubic inches. This urn will only hold a very small portion of the ashes of a loved one, about one tablespoon. If you are looking for a different size, this urn is also available in a small, and medium.
Filling the urn is easy. We recommend keeping the ashes inside of a plastic bag and placing the full bag into the urn. This urn is easily sealed through the top with a secure threaded lid.
Displaying & Burying The Urn
The Paw Print Keepsake Cremation Urn may be displayed in your home, stored in a columbarium or niche, or buried. If you plan to display this urn in your home or within a columbarium, a small velvet bag may be a good option to prevent any scratches to the urns finish and to act as a dust cover. If you plan to bury this urn, it is vital that a burial container be used to protect the urn and its contents.
Personalizing This Urn
This keepsake offers two lines of custom engraving with up to 12 characters per line. The optional engraving can be done in either a script or block style font. Due to the limited characters, most will choose to add their loved one’s name and dates only. The engraving can be done on the front and/or back of the urn.

I ordered two of the Paw Print Keepsake Cremation Urns as sharing urns. They are perfect in every way, size, durability, engraving. The price was so good, I was a little unsure of what I might receive but they are exceptionally nice. I am so glad I found them. -

Great, but not black

I know this sounds snotty, but I often will not purchase a brass item from India with any sort of carving or engraving on it. Too often, it looks cheap to me. I knew the paw prints on these urns had engraving around them, so I almost didn't order this. It turns out I am really glad I did. The engraving isn't perfect if perfect is computer-cut, but it's not what I'd worried about and it works well with the paw prints.
This little thing is surprisingly heavy. I ordered the smallest one and there is some serious brass involved here!
The only thing I was mildly disappointed in was that I bought the urn thinking it was black. I told my husband I'd get the black one, since my little dog was black. The urn looks black as the night on my screen! But it's not black. It looks like gunmetal to me. I didn't rate lower based on color, because I don't see anywhere where the color is stated; I just went off screen color and I know that's unreliable - my bad; I should have inquired. I thought I'd put the information out there in case another shopper thinks the black is fitting because shadow was black. That's just not going to work out unless shadow turned dark, metallic gray as he aged.
At any rate, this is a wonderful, very small urn. If I pick it up, it's mostly covered by my fingers (except the top) and fits securely in my palm if I want to hold onto it. It closes securely and seems to hold the amount of ashes it is meant to.
My dog wasn't super-picky. He slept on his dead "dad's" jacket that I never washed, he hung out on the shredded passenger seat of a 25 year-old pickup, and he did horrible things with his nose. Had his urn been made of bacon, he'd have been in heaven, though maybe not in an urn for very long. He could have lived with cardboard or even plastic. I'm sure he'd have been fine with the cedar urn the Humane Society sent him home in. But this urn says we had a pet with dignity and that with all the goofiness and laughs and silliness, he still means something serious in our hearts. This urn says we cared to memorialize him with something we won't break, and something that will likely outlive even us. -

I am very pleased with this product. The quality is great. The size is perfect to share with my Grandaughter -- just enough of "Kramer" to remind her of just how special he was to her (us). Screw top prevents it from accidently opening, should it get knocked over. I would highly recommend this product. Nicely engraved. The turn-around time & delivery were quick. Keepsake Urn

We had purchased this keepsake urn along with a Small Paw Print urn when our beloved Allie passed away of kidney failure. I was impressed with how lovely this small urn was. It holds a small amount of Allie for my 14 year old daughter to keep with her. The engraving was beautiful. They said that it would ship in 3-5 business days... and it was here within 2 days. Allie is now home with us... and her spirit is awaiting us at Rainbow Bridge.
