Easily seals with a secure threaded screw. The use of glue is recommend to permanently seal the ring. We encourage using a modeling glue or epoxy to make a permanent seal. The ring is really beautiful.. the only thing I do not like about it is I feel it is to bright. I think it should be a little duller. I have other silver rings and they are not as bright as this one. It kinds of takes away from the value. The picture looks beautiful, but like I said the ring is way to bright...I hope I worded this right....
