Urn Size & Filling Information

The size of the urn matters, especially if you are hoping to keep all the ashes in one place. The urn's outside dimensions are 6-1/4" wide x 10-3/4"H and an inside capacity of 200 cubic inches. This urn will hold the cremains of a loved one with a healthy weight of 200 lbs (90.7 kg) or less, making it suitable for most adults.

Filling the urn is easy. We recommend keeping the cremains inside of a plastic bag and placing the full bag into the urn. This urn is easily sealed through the top with a secure threaded lid.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

The is large urn may be displayed in your home, stored in a columbarium or niche, or buried. If you plan to display this urn in your home or within a columbarium, an outside the urn bag may be a good option to prevent any scratches to the urns finish and to act as a dust cover. If you plan to bury this urn, it is vital that a burial container be used to protect the urn and its contents. Direct burial is not advised. You should check with your burial location to determine specific guidelines they may have but a burial container should be used in all burial instances. Adding personalization to this urn ensures your loved one is honored in the most pristine way. You may add up to 4 lines of engraving with 35 characters on each line. Also available are poem options to be added to the back side of the urn. The engraving is complete through a laser process. We offer an optional engraving example which can allow you to see the engraving layout prior to its completion.
