The Large Classic Cremation Urn is one of our most popular urns. In addition to its simple and clean silhouette, the gun metal gray color allows the engraving to stand out beautifully in contrast. This urn is crafted from aluminum alloy, the most predominant metal in the world. You can be assured your loved ones' cremains will be protected by this incredibly sturdy vase-shaped urn. This classic styled urn has a top-opening with a secure threaded lid, making it easy to fill.
Urn Size & Filling Information
The size of the urn matters, especially if you are hoping to keep all the ashes in one place. The urn's outside dimensions are 6" Dia. x 10"H and an inside capacity of 200 cubic inches. This urn will hold the cremains of a loved one with a healthy weight of 200 lbs (90.7 kg) or less, making it suitable for most adults. If you are looking for a different size urn, it is available in x-small, small, medium, large and x-large sizes.
Filling the urn is easy. We recommend keeping the cremains inside of a plastic bag and placing the full bag into the urn. This urn is easily sealed through the top with a secure threaded lid.
Displaying & Burying The Urn
The Large Classic Cremation Urn may be displayed in your home, stored in a columbarium or niche, or buried. If you plan to display this urn in your home or within a columbarium, an outside the urn bag may be a good option to prevent any scratches to the urns finish and to act as a dust cover. If you plan to bury this urn, it is vital that a burial container be used to protect the urn and its contents. Direct burial is not advised. You should check with your burial location to determine specific guidelines they may have but a burial container should be used in all burial instances. Personalizing This Urn
Adding personalization to this urn ensures your loved one is honored in the most pristine way. You may add up to 5 lines of engraving with 35 characters on each line. Also available are several basic artwork options that will be engraved below any custom text and poem options to be added to the back side of the urn. The engraving is complete through a laser process. We offer an optional engraving example which can allow you to see the engraving layout prior to its completion. If you choose an engraving example it will be e-mailed to you within 24 business hours after your order has been placed.

I could not be more pleased with this urn. It is simply beautiful. The engraving is perfect. I am so happy I did not buy from the funeral home, this one is much more elegant and about 1/3rd the cost. We ordered this urn for my mother who just passed. We agree with other reviewers that the pictures do not do this item justice. It is really beautiful. We had it engraved and added roses and it is such a lovely tribute to her. The photos make it look matte but it is more of an oil-rubbed bronze look with a sheen. At such a difficult time, this product has allowed us a breath of relief and we know she is very happy with it! Highly recommend this product! -

Urn quality and color was above expectations, seeing it only from a picture. I was contacted to make sure the spelling in the inscription was correct within a day of my order, and was told it would arrive in 5 to 7 business days. It came in three. Hopefully I will not be needing this for a long time, but I wanted to not leave this choir to my children. The nitch is purchased,the urn is purchased and they will be left with full instructions, making it easier on them. -
