Large Bronze Dog in Basket Cremation Urn

A precious dog is sleeping quietly in a warm basket on top of this charming cremation urn. The dog figure is beautifully hand painted with an antiqued bronze finish and made from cold cast resin, allowing the fine detailing and careful crafting to stand out. You can place your departed pet's ashes inside this dog urn through a small panel in the bottom of the urn. The bottom is also covered in soft black felt to protect the surface of your furniture.

Urn Size & Filling Information

This urn is 170 cubic inches in volume making it suitable for a dog who had a healthy weight of 150 lbs or less. In addition to this large size, this urn is also available in a keepsake size and small size. A different size may be needed depending on the weight of your pet. Make sure to double check the weight so that your beloved pet has the proper resting place. Each size is beautiful and full of artistic detail making them a great option to display in your home.

On the bottom of the urn is a removable panel with a d-ring closure to secure it shut. The panel has a rubber gasket to keep the inside of the urn air-tight. To fill the urn the panel will be removed, a bag containing your loved ones remains is placed inside and the panel is put back in place.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

This urn makes a great work of art to display in your home. The bottom is covered in felt to avoid scratching any surfaces this may be displayed on. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to consider a burial container. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own. This container is designed to protect the urn and any other keepsakes inside when buried. A wide lip allows the vault to be carried easily and allows for a clean adhesive application; adhesive is included.

Personalizing This Urn

This urn has the option for an engraved plaque. The plaque is used to bring another level of personalization for a lasting family momento, passed on for generations. The addition of a pets name, legacy dates and their titles (name, nicknames, etc.) are most common. The name line can be up to 25 characters and the sentiment lines can be up to 60 characters per line. Add optional artwork to the plaque from the choices above. You may also add a poem engraved plaque to be attached to the back side of the urn.

The plaque is completed on a material that is the same the urn is created with. This ensures that the engraving matches the urns colors and the integrity of the entire piece remains the same. The engraving and urn will never fade, tarnish or rust.
