The medium Heritage Photo Frame Cremation Urn is crafted from composite wood. Composite wood will not crack or warp, thus beautifully sustaining the urn's appearance. The urn has a matte black finish and an attached stand.
These contemporary urns are a dual purpose photo frame and cremation urn. Cremains and photo are inserted through the removable back panel with secure screws. The cremains should remain inside of the secure bag they're provided to you in. An optional velvet bag can be used for an added level of protection. This picture frame cremation urn accommodates an 5"H x 7"W photograph and can hold the cremains of a loved one who had a healthy weight of 60 pounds or less. Due to this size, medium urn is most commonly used as a sharing urn, where the cremains are split amongst several family members. Display this urn horizontally or vertically. This urn is best displayed as a shadowbox.
Optional Engraved Plaque
An optional engraved plaque can be done in either a script or block style font. The plaque is made of a resin material that is meant to never fade or tarnish. Engraving can be up to 3 lines with a total of 35 characters on the name line and 65 characters on sentiment lines 1 and 2. Optional artwork may also be engraved (See artwork options above).

We are very happy with photo frame urn. I had a small amount of my dad's ashes in a small urn. This frame was perfect to put the small urn in. I also love looking at the picture of my dad knowing his ashes are in the frame. I chose not to have the engraved plaque for a more subtle look. The frame is good quality and looks great! -
Beautiful

This frame/urn is beautiful. My Golden Retriever was 60 pounds and his ashes fit perfectly into this urn. This is so well made and looks beautiful in my family room, placed next to where his bed was. I chose to put the plaque behind the frame to make it look less like an urn, and more as a beautiful framed photo. Thank you for this treasure. It truly is beautiful and makes me happy to look at.... -
Completely disappointed

I ordered this urn for my sweet dog that passed away earlier this month. I received the urn today and I am completely disappointed. The urn itself is quite beautiful, if you just order that, expect it to be great. However, the engraving is a cheap plastic sticker that you must apply yourself. My engraved "plaque" was also covered in a black ink and what looked to be dirt. Customer service was also of no help. The woman that spoke to me talked to me in a very condescending manner. I've ordered from this website before previously and had good work, but this is cheap and disrespectful to people going through such a hard time. What a way to take advantage of people at periods in their life such as these ones. Shame on you perfect memorials! -
Nice inconspicuous urn

I liked this urn because of the photo, and also that it is relatively small in depth so I felt I could display it out in the open without anyone noticing it is an urn. It just barely fit for the cremains of our 25 lb dog, so any larger animal or person I would order a larger size if you are putting all of the cremains in the urn. The screws are very cheap and hard to open, I would suggest replacing them with better screws. Also I know some other reviews mentioned not having anything to place the cremains in - this is not really an urn to put cremains directly into, you will want to order a velvet bag or something to hold them inside it. -

I will have to say I had nothing but a great experience with my order. I ordered on Wednesday and received it on Friday and it was free shipping. It was very pretty and nicely made and made a great memorial to my dog (Sugar) that passed away July 31st. She weighed only 10 pounds, but I did order the larger one in order to get the 5 x 7 frame for her picture. Her size would have been tiny. I was able to put some other things of hers along with the cremains in the back. And now it sits in a perfect spot, on my bedside table. I would recommend this frame to anyone. -

I am very pleased with the quality of the frame. I read a previous review and knew I would need to have a plastic bag for the ashes as there is no other way to contain them. The back, where the ashes are stored, was easy to get to, the back for the picture easy to take out and replace. All in all, a nice product. -

We lost our dear Fletcher on 12/12/12 and as difficult as it was, having his ashes in a nice frame urn makes it more bearable. This frame is of excellent quality. -

I accidentally ordered the keepsake version of this rosewood urn. I had to call to see about returning it and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I also received the "perfect" urn in a timely manner.
