A little cat is sleeping quietly in a warm basket on top of this charming cremation urn. The cat figure is beautifully hand painted with a matte black finish, including the basket and the base, and it includes an appealing rope detail around the bottom. Made from cold cast resin allows the fine detailing and careful crafting to stand out. You can place your departed pet's ashes inside this cat urn through a small panel in the bottom of the urn. The bottom is also covered in soft black felt to protect the surface of your furniture.
Urn Size & Filling Information
This urn is 25 cubic inches in volume making it suitable for a cat who had a healthy weight of 20 lbs. Make sure to double check the weight so that your beloved pet has the proper resting place.
On the bottom of the urn is a removable panel with a d-ring closure to secure it shut. The panel has a rubber gasket to keep the inside of the urn air-tight. To fill the urn the panel will be removed, a bag containing your loved ones remains is placed inside and the panel is put back in place.
Displaying & Burying The Urn
This urn makes a great work of art to display in your home. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to consider a burial container. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own. The Crown Vault Urn Burial Containers are made from lightweight polystyrene. It can withstand 4,300 pounds of top load pressure on a single vault! This container is designed to protect the urn and any other keepsakes inside when buried. A wide lip allows the vault to be carried easily and allows for a clean adhesive application; adhesive is included.
Personalizing This Urn
This urn has the option for an engraved plaque. The plaque is used to bring another level of personalization for a lasting family momento, passed on for generations. The addition of a loved ones name, legacy dates and their titles (father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, etc.) are most common. This cat urn features an optional engraved plaque, which has space for up to 4 lines of engraving in a script or block font. The name line can be up to 25 characters and the sentiment lines can be up to 60 characters per line. Add optional artwork to the plaque from the choices above. You may also add a poem engraved plaque to be attached to the back side of the urn.
The plaque is not attached to the urn prior to shipping. This allows the freedom for each person to adhere the urn as you see fit with the included permanent adhesive. See our easy plaque application instructions to make the process a breeze.

We were devastated by the sudden loss of our cat, Leroy Brown ,the baddest cat in the whole darn town. I scrolled the internet trying to find something special in which to keep his ashes and found your site, quite by accident. I saw the cat in a basket and my daughter and I decided to buy it. I really wasn't expecting much for the price and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it really is, in person. Thank you, we are please to have this pretty reminder of our special guy. -

We could not be happier with this urn. It arrived much faster than I thought it would (5 days from order date) and it was bigger than I anticipated which was great. It's a good weight and feels high quality. I know some people have said they don't like that the plaque is a sticker, but it is a thick, heavy duty sticker, not just a label. It actually looks really nice and once you stick it on you can't even tell it's a sticker. I thought the print on the sticker could have been better at as it was slightly blurry for lack of a better word. I would've liked to see it more crisp. I chose the gold on black and it's more of a tan color. But it still looks really nice. I also kind of wish the basket was a different color just to give it more contrast, but this was the best urn I could find for my beloved black kitty. It's definitely more unique than most urns and I'm very happy with it. -

It is difficult me to be excited in writing this review. The product is as advertised. The ashes came in a sealed plastic bag that was placed in a velvet bag. The whole package fit comfortably into this urn.
I chose this over some products I saw in Amazon because it allowed me to have the poem and my own tributes to my cat. I read in the comments that the plaques are not metal, and are not pre glued on. I appreciate that feature because it allowed me the choice of where I wanted to place the plaques on the urn. It is a great memorial for my cat. Now she rests in the house wherever I am, as she always did when she lived. -

I ordered this urn on a Saturday and received it that Thursday. My 19 year old cat died of mouth cancer the end of March. She was my baby and I loved her so very much. I wanted to get her an urn for her ashes. I found this and it was perfect for her because she was an all black cat and always layed in baskets, boxes and anything she could crawl into. Beautiful detail on the cat and just perfect!! -
