Gray & Navy Biodegradable Box Cremation Urn

This Gray & Navy Biodegradable Box Cremation Urn is made of handmade, natural biodegradable material. The box is adorned with a navy colored band wrapping around the exterior of the box to keep it securely closed. Within the outer gray colored box is a black box that is meant to hold cremains of your loved one. Due to the nature of this handmade product, its color and pattern may vary slightly. Although the cremains are secure inside the inner and outer boxes, it is recommended that a biodegradable bag be used for an additional layer of security.

The Environment

Perfect Memorials biodegradable box urns are manufactured with the environment in mind. The tree bark that is used to make the paper is harvested from mulberry trees in such a way that does not damage the tree. This sustainable process is centuries old and ensures the preservation of individual trees and the ancient forests they belong to.

Once the mulberry tree bark is harvested, it is soaked until soft and then laid out on bamboo screens where natural coloring agents are added by hand. The screens are then placed in the sun to dry. The resulting paper is used to make this beautiful and environmentally friendly memorial urn.

Eco-Friendly Burial Options

These biodegradable urns are fabricated by hand from recycled and eco-friendly paper which breaks down naturally when buried. They help families live out their loved ones wishes for a green burial. They are durable, with no "shelf life" and will NOT begin to biodegrade until they are buried in the ground or placed in water. If you choose water burial, the urn will float atop the water for up to several minutes then gently descend to the water’s floor where it will begin to biodegrade. Optional Personalization

Optional personalization can be done in one of two font options. Personalization can be up to 2 lines with 35 characters per line. An optional poem may be added to the back of the urn. Choose from 10 different poems. Optional artwork may be personalized on the front of the urn.

Personalization on your memorial helps to permanently identify the urn. Personalization helps make the memorial for your loved one personal and unique. Some cemeteries may require direct personalization for identification purposes. In the incident of being misplaced or lost, the personalization can help return the memorial back to its proper location.
