Urn Size & Filling Information

This urn is a keepsake making it a great option to hold a small amount of ashes or as a sharing urn when splitting the ashes up between many family members or loved ones. The urn's outside dimensions are 2.9 H" x 3" W x 3" D and an inside capacity of 10 cubic inches. This urn will only hold a very small portion of the ashes of a loved one, about one tablespoon.

On the top of the urn you will find a threaded top closure. To fill the urn the threaded closure will be removed, a bag containing your loved ones remains is placed inside and screwed it back on. Your order will Include a bag and tie for your loved ones ashes.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

This urn makes a great work of art to display in your home. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to consider a burial container. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own. The Crown Vault Urn Burial Containers are made from lightweight polystyrene. It can withstand 4,300 pounds of top load pressure on a single vault! This container is designed to protect the urn and any other keepsakes inside when buried. A wide lip allows the vault to be carried easily and allows for a clean adhesive application; adhesive is included.

Engraving can serve as a lasting tribute to the person who has passed away. It allows family members and friends to remember and honor their loved one by adding their name, dates of birth and death, or a heartfelt message.

On the front of the urn you can add up to 4 lines of engraving with up to 18 characters on each line on this keepsake. One of our artwork designs can be added on the front with the text. We offer several font options including Helvetica, Monotype Corsiva, Shelly Allegro, Times New Roman and Old English. On the back side you may add an optional poem engraving, options listed above.
