Because personalized pet urns come in a variety of sizes and materials, how much customization each one has available will vary. A large photo frame pet urn, for example, may have space for one or more photos, as well as a small plaque or area directly on the urn that can be engraved with several lines of text. Large wood chest personalized dog urns, on the other hand, could have the space for 5 or more lines of engraving.

Personalization Options for Your Pet Urn

Depending on the pet urn that you choose, you have a number of engraving options to consider in addition to the amount of text that you wish to add. A personalized pet urn may be engraved directly on the urn itself, or it may come with one or more engraved brass plaques that are attached to the urn. In both cases, there may be space for added artwork, such as a set of paw prints, to be included. In some cases, you may also have a choice of block or script font for the engraving.

In addition to your own custom text, personalized dog urns, custom cat urns, and other personalized urns for pets may have space for an optional poem. Choose from several pre-selected short poems, each of which reflects how much your pet means to you. Engraving and customizing, whether it includes a poem or not, usually can be completed within one business day, and is often done on the same day as your order.

In addition, if your custom pet urn has space for a photo, you may be able to choose the frame shape. Options can include heart, oval, or rectangle. Of course, adding your own photo is a great way to give a pet urn a personal touch.
