Ebony Cross Stainless Steel Cremation Jewelry

This elegant ebony cross pendant is a special way to keep your departed loved one in mind and close to your heart. Made from stainless steel, a jewelry material that's quickly growing in popularity, it features a fine black cross on the front. The top of the cross can be removed so that a small portion of cremated remains, a lock of hair, or a pinch of dried ceremonial flowers can be placed inside. The cross pendant may be worn or displayed in a glass dome.

This beautiful piece of jewelry is designed and created by a professional jeweler. Each cremation pendant is created one at a time with a highest level of precision and detail possible. A number of optional additions are available, including custom engraving. Choose one of two lengths of black satin cord to hold your cross pendant, or select a leather cord or one of a variety of silver chains.

The top of the cross easily seals with a threaded stopper screw. We recommend using a modeling glue or epoxy to seal the screw permanently.

Optional Engraving

Optional engraving in script or block font is available for the back of this cross pendant. You can add up to 2 lines of text with 11 characters per line. In addition, you can add a small piece of artwork from the choices shown above.

My 15 year old son chose this for a keepsake piece to place his sister's ashes in. It is exceptionally good quality. Sturdy, strong, and it was easy to fill. We were very pleased. We did buy a stronger silver chain, since the black cord would not have held up under daily use. We wer worried about size and checked measurements before we got it, but it was not too large. We were very pleased.

I bought this cross for my son's birthday in March and put some of his father's ashes in it. His father (my husband) had died just three months before. He loves this cross and gets so many compliments on it. It is still as beautiful as the day I gave it to him and he even wrote a poem about it and what it means to him to have part of his father with him all the time, watching over him wherever he goes. I highly recommend this as a special gift or remembrance for anyone.

I recently purchased this cross for my husband to carry his mother's ashes in. He had wanted some type of carrying mechanism, but could not decide what. I took the initiative and just ordered. It arrived today and after showing him the cross, he was very touched and pleased! It looks just like it does in the picture!
*If I had one suggestion it would be : perhaps offer some sort of "tool" or small funnel to assist in transferring the ashes to the jewelry.

I bought this for my 14 year old son who's great grandmother just passed I ordered it on a Thursday at like 3 am and received it Saturday morning VERY fast shipping!!!! When we received it I wasn't expecting it to be of such good quality, it is nice and sturdy not to mention it isn't light and dainty as I was afraid it might be because of the price; my son and I both love it I also love how it comes with a utensil to make a funnel. This has a screw on top to secure the ashes in but for double safety they include a glue to secure it! I have recommended this site to everyone!!!!

We were very disappointed with the quality of this urn. The urn does not sit flush on it's base. The edges are beveled, but that is not it. When held up to the light, you can clearly see through parts of it. We are not happy that his ashes are so exposed to the environment. Due to the heavy staining used to make the etching show, the grain and imperfections are amplified. There is a streak through his face that ruins the picture. Had they removed the excess stain before sealing it, it would not have been so noticeable. The front is also quite obviously darker than the rest of the urn. Probably also due to the staining. Lastly, why would #2 squarehead screws be used? We had to go buy a special screwdriver in order to open it. Can't understand why it could not be a Phillips head or a flat head screwdriver or even an allen key since those are standard tools.

It doesn't seem very secure for ashes and I was not impressed with the quality of the product for what I paid. The chain is cheap and chinzy, nothing I would trust for a piece of jewelry I plan to wear all the time. The joint where the locket opens and closes is already loose and wiggling back and forth. I like the design of the teardrop and rose, but I want something that holds ashes as well as has a spot for a picture, and I want better quality in the product.
