Urn Size & Filling Information

This urn is 235 cubic inches in volume, which makes it suitable for a loved one who had a healthy weight of 235 lbs or less, this is considered suitable for most adults. Make sure to double check the weight so that your beloved has the proper resting place.

On the bottom of the urn is a removable panel with a d-ring closure to secure it shut. The panel has a rubber gasket to keep the inside of the urn air-tight. To fill the urn the panel will be removed, a bag containing your loved ones remains is placed inside and the panel is put back in place.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

This urn makes a great work of art to display in your home. The bottom is covered in felt to avoid scratching any surfaces this may be displayed on. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to know that this urn doubles as a burial urn and can be buried directly. No additional burial container is required.

Personalizing This Urn

This urn offers an optional engravable plaque which you can choose in a silver or gold finish and we can engrave in a script or block font. A personalized plaque brings another level of personalization for a lasting family momento, passed on for generations. The addition of a loved ones name, legacy dates, photo, and their titles (father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, etc.) are most common. The plaque comes unattached to the urn to ensure they can be permanently adhered to the urn with the provided adhesive, just as you desire.

The engraved plaque allows for a total of 5 lines with 50 characters each to fill with any custom text you'd like in either Monotype Corsiva or Times New Roman font. There is also room at the bottom of the plaque to have an optional poem engraved. You can add optional artwork or a photo engraving as well. The plaque is not attached to the urn prior to shipping. This allows the freedom for each person to adhere the urn as you see fit with the included permanent adhesive.
