The Aquarius Ascent Metal Cremation Urn is a vase-shaped urn made of solid metal. Its finish smooth and shiny finish with turquoise, aqua and gold colors. The urns pattern resembling marble. The lid closure is threaded and the urn is easy to fill. This urn is suitable for most adults with a healthy weight of 200 lbs or less. Due to the creation process, patterns and colors may vary slightly.
Urn Sizing & Filling
The size of the urn matters. The urn's outside dimensions are 5-1/2" W x 10-1/2" H x 5-1/2" and an inside capacity of 200 cubic inches. This urn will hold the cremains of a loved one with a healthy weight of 200 lbs (90.7 kg) or less, making it suitable for most adults. Filling the urn is easy. We recommend keeping the cremains inside of a plastic bag and placing the full bag in to the urn. The urn comes with a threaded lid that can be secured shut once the ashes are placed inside.
Customizing Your Urn
To customize the urn, you may add an optional heart-shaped urn pendant. If you choose text only engraving, you may add up to two lines with 25 characters on each line. most families will include the departed's name and legacy years (birth date - passing date). You may also choose to add photo engraving to the other side the pendant, including your favorite photograph of your loved one. The engraved pendant will hang around the neck of the urn with a provided matching ribbon. The heart pendant is 1-1/8" W by 1-1/8" H.
Displaying & Storing Your Urn
This unique urn may be displayed in your home, stored in a columbarium or niche, or buried. If you plan to display this urn in your home or within a columbarium, an outside the urn bag is a beneficial option to prevent any scratches to the urns finish and to act as a dust cover. If you plan to bury this urn, it is important that a burial container be used to protect the urn and its contents. Direct burial is not recommended.
